Description
The Southern Stoplight Loosejaw is similar to its relative, the Stoplight Loosejaw, and also resides in deep-sea environments. It is distinguished by a slightly smaller size and a different geographical range, mainly in the Southern Hemisphere. The species is also known for its bioluminescence, using red and green lights to communicate and hunt in the deep-sea darkness.
