Southern Sea Spider [Ammothea carolinensis]

Description
A species of sea spider native to the Southern Ocean. They are known to inhabit depths of over 1000 meters. Their body, not including legs, can measure up to 2 cm, and their legs can be up to 6 cm long. The body is ovate and elongated. They exhibit sexual dimorphism, with males having specialized legs for carrying fertilized eggs.
