Southern Reef Squid [Nicidion australe]

Description
The Southern Reef Squid is a medium-sized squid found in the southern hemisphere, particularly in the waters around Australia and New Zealand. It has a slender body with a distinct diamond shape when the fins are fully extended. It is known to inhabit rocky reefs and seagrass meadows and is primarily nocturnal, hunting small fish and crustaceans at night.
