Description

Eunicida is an order of polychaetes that includes many burrowing and tube-dwelling species, such as the notorious bobbit worm. These worms are characterized by their strong jaws made of chitin, used for capturing prey and defending themselves. Eunicids are found in a variety of habitats, from sandy bottoms to coral reefs.
