Description
The Southern moon snail is a marine gastropod mollusk that is known for its beautiful, glossy shell which is usually a pale pink or yellowish color. It is commonly found in the southern hemisphere, particularly the southern coasts of Australia and New Zealand. This species inhabits sandy and muddy substrates in shallow waters where it burrows to hunt for its preferred prey, bivalve mollusks.
