Description
The Southern Calcareous Snail, or Sigapatella calyptraeaformis, is a small marine gastropod mollusk native to the southern waters of Australia. The species inhabits rocky reefs and seagrass beds in shallow to deep waters. It has a small, limpet-like, white to pale brown shell that is often covered with marine growth, making it well camouflaged in its environment.
