Sosane's Pipefish [Sosane syngnathus]

Description
Another member of the family Syngnathidae with a slender, elongated body and a long, tubular snout. Unlike seahorses, pipefishes have a more streamlined form and lack a prehensile tail. They inhabit a wide range of habitats, from coastal waters to the open ocean, and are often found among seagrasses and algae, where they blend in to escape predators. The males also exhibit brood care, carrying eggs on a specialized area of their ventral side.
