Description
The Soft Skate, scientifically known as Malacoraja kreffti, is a species of skate in the family Rajidae. It is found in the Southwest Atlantic from Brazil to Argentina. It is a benthic species found on the continental slope at depths from 140 to 1,460 meters. Its distinguishing features include a long, narrow snout and small, white spots on the upper surface.
