Snaggletooth Shark [Hemipristis elongata]
Description
The Snaggletooth Shark is a species of ground shark found in tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific region. This species prefers coastal and offshore waters at depths up to 130 meters. It is characterized by its elongated, slender body and unique, serrated teeth. The shark is known to grow up to 244 cm in length and feeds on a diet of bony fish, cephalopods, and crustaceans.
