Smooth lumpfish [Ogcocephalus parvus]
Description
The smooth lumpfish is a species found in the Western Atlantic, from North Carolina to the northern Gulf of Mexico. It prefers the sea floor in deep waters, and is known for its flat, smooth body and large, upward-facing mouth.
