Smooth Ancilla [Ancilla sulcata]

Description
The Smooth Ancilla is a small sea snail species with a shell length typically around 2 cm. The shell is smooth and glossy, usually white or cream colored, sometimes with brown streaks. The species inhabits tropical and subtropical waters, typically found in sandy bottoms and seagrass beds. It is an opportunistic feeder, consuming a variety of small invertebrates.
