Description
The Smallthorn Sand Skate is a species of fish in the family Rajidae. It is endemic to the southeastern Pacific Ocean along the Chilean coast. It inhabits soft substrates in shallow continental shelf waters. It is recognized by its diamond-shaped body, short tail, and small, closely set thorns on its back.
