Shortfin Sand Skate [Psammobatis normani]
Description
The Shortfin Sand Skate is a species of fish in the family Rajidae. It is endemic to the southeastern Pacific Ocean along Chile and Peru. It prefers soft substrates in coastal waters and can be found at depths of 10 to 100 meters. It is characterized by a diamond-shaped body, short and thick tail, and two small dorsal fins.
