Short dragonfish [Eurypegasus papilio]

Description

The Short Dragonfish is another member of the Pegasidae family, often found in the Western Pacific. It is characterized by its short, stout body and large, wing-like pectoral fins. It has a small, downward-facing mouth and a chin barbel. It prefers sandy or muddy habitats and is often found near sea grass beds.
