Short-bodied Pinjalo [Pinjalo lewisi]

Description

Pinjalo lewisi, also known as the short-bodied pinjalo, is a species of snapper that is native to the western Pacific Ocean. This species is typically found in and around coral reefs, and is known for its short, robust body shape. Pinjalo lewisi can reach a maximum length of 30 cm. It is occasionally captured and sold by commercial fisheries, but is not a major component of the fishery.
