Pinjalo [Pinjalo]
Description
Pinjalo species are distinguished by their deep bodies and reddish-pink coloration. Found in the Indo-West Pacific, these snappers prefer coral reef environments where they can be seen in schools, often mixed with other snapper species. They are omnivorous, feeding on a diet of small fish, crustaceans, and plankton.
