Description
Schneider's smooth-fronted caiman, also known as Schneider's dwarf caiman, is a small crocodilian from South America, where it is native to the central and western Amazon River basin. The species is both terrestrial and aquatic, and is distinguished by its smooth, olive green skin, and a snout that is longer and more slender than that of P. palpebrosus.
