Description
Scarlet and Gold Cup Coral is a solitary, sessile coral that is found in the eastern Pacific Ocean. It is usually found attached to rocks or other hard surfaces in the subtidal zone. Characteristically, it has a bright red or orange color, with a yellow mouth, and it can be identified by its long, slender tentacles.
