Rock beauty [Holacanthus tricolor]
Description
The Rock beauty is a species of marine angelfish of the family Pomacanthidae. They are found in the western Atlantic from Georgia, Bermuda, and the northern Gulf of Mexico to Santa Catarina, Brazil. It has a black body and yellow head, with a yellow tail. Juveniles have a completely yellow body with a black spot surrounded by a blue ring on their sides. It is commonly found in coral reefs, where it feeds on tunicates, sponges, zoantharians, and algae.
