Description
The Red-tipped Sea Anemone, or Arabellona mcmurrichi, is a species of sea anemone native to the Pacific Ocean. It is often found in intertidal zones and shallow waters. This species is recognized by its red-tipped tentacles and column-shaped body. It is a sessile organism, attaching itself to rocks and other hard surfaces, and uses its tentacles to capture and feed on small marine animals.
