Red Crown Jellyfish [Netrostoma rufa]

Description
Netrostoma rufa, commonly referred to as the Red Crown Jellyfish, is a species primarily found in warmer waters of the Indian Ocean. Characterized by its red or orange bell with a crown-shaped structure, this jellyfish can expand up to 25 cm in diameter. Its tentacles are equipped with specialized stinging cells used to capture prey such as small fishes and invertebrates. The Red Crown Jellyfish is somewhat translucent, with the intense color making it more visible in the water.
