Purple Dwarf Olive [Olivella biplicata]
Description
Also known as the Purple Dwarf Olive, Olivella biplicata is a marine gastropod mollusk belonging to the Olivellidae family. It is found along the coasts of the Pacific Ocean, from British Columbia to Baja California, Mexico. It is recognized by its small size, often not growing larger than 1 cm, and its purplish-brown color.
