Description
The Pink Skunk Clownfish, also known as the pink anemonefish, is a skunk clownfish that is pink to orange in color with a white stripe running vertically down the body just behind the eyes. Native to the western Pacific, the Pink Skunk Clownfish lives in association with sea anemones, utilizing them for protection from predators, which the anemones' stinging cells are lethal to. The Pink Skunk Clownfish is a protandrous hermaphrodite, meaning it changes from male to female in certain social conditions.
