Description

The Pacific sleeper shark is a species of sleeper shark native to the North Pacific Ocean. It is known for its large size, with mature individuals reaching up to 7 meters. They are one of the few shark species that can inhabit waters with temperatures near freezing. Pacific sleeper sharks are opportunistic feeders, preying on a wide range of marine organisms including fish, cephalopods, and even marine mammals.
