Pacific limpet [Leptothyra pacifica]

Description
The Pacific limpet, Leptothyra pacifica, is another marine gastropod mollusk in the family Colloniidae. It is found in the Western Pacific, particularly around Japan. As with other Leptothyra species, the Pacific limpet is small, with an oval shell that is typically less than 10mm long. It prefers rocky substrates in shallow subtidal zones. The shell is commonly light brown or beige in color.
