Oriental Slim Eels [Lamnostoma orientalis]

Description

The Lamnostoma orientalis, often referred to as the Oriental slim eel, is a species of fish in the Synbranchidae family. It is found in Brackish water environments in the Indo-West Pacific region. The species has an elongated body that can reach a maximum length of 60 cm. The Oriental slim eel is nocturnal, hiding in the mud during the day and coming out at night to feed on small fish and crustaceans.
