Description
Onuphis eremita is a species of marine polychaete worms in the family Onuphidae. It is known for creating long, U-shaped burrows in sandy or muddy substrates. It is a filter feeder, capturing plankton and other small particles from the water column. The body of the worm is cylindrical, segmented and can reach up to 30 cm in length.
