Description

The Okame stingray, also referred to as the 'boomerang skate', is a species of ray that resides in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. It is categorized as a 'near threatened' species, due to overfishing. The Okame stingray is nocturnal in nature and prefers sandy or muddy seabeds.
