Norway Pout [Trisopterus esmarkii]
Description
The Norway Pout is a small marine fish found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean, particularly from the Bay of Biscay to the Norwegian Sea. They are pelagic species that live in offshore waters, with a depth range of 100 to 200 meters. Norway Pouts have slim, elongated bodies with three dorsal fins, two anal fins, and a small chin barbel. Their diet consists mainly of small crustaceans and fish.
