Description
The Northern Red Anemone, or Urticina felina, is a large, solitary species found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It prefers colder waters and rocky substrates. It has a red column and tentacles, which can vary from pale to dark red. This anemone feeds on small invertebrates and detritus, using its tentacles to bring food to its mouth.
