Northern Fireworm [Eurythoe norvegica]

Description
Northern fireworms are a species of bristleworm found in the cold waters of the Northern Atlantic. They are similar in size to the southern fireworm but have a darker coloration, ranging from dark grey to black. They are scavengers and feed primarily on dead organic matter. They are solitary creatures and are only typically seen in large numbers when mating.
