Description
Isarachnanthus nocturnus, commonly known as the nightlight sea pen, is a species of sea pen in the family Pennatulidae. It is native to the Atlantic Ocean. This species is nocturnal and withdraws into the sediment during the day. It is characterized by its slender, upright rachis and numerous small side branches. It emits a greenish-blue light when disturbed.
