Isarachnanthus [Isarachnanthus]

Description

Isarachnanthus includes species of tube anemones that are less commonly known but play a significant role in their ecosystems. These anemones are unique because of their relatively short tubes and a small number of long, filamentous tentacles. They are typically found in deeper water environments, where they attach their tubes to hard substrates rather than burying them in sediment. Their feeding habits include capturing plankton and small fish that drift into their range.
