Navaga [Eleginus nawaga]
Description
The Navaga, or Eleginus nawaga, is a species of cod native to the Arctic seas. It is a small fish, usually not exceeding 35cm in length. It has a greenish-gray body with a white belly. The Navaga is typically found in shallow coastal waters with sandy or gravelly bottoms. It feeds primarily on small crustaceans and fish.
