Mud shrimp [Corallianassa coutierei]

Description
Corallianassa coutierei, also known as mud shrimp, is a species of decapod crustacean. They are found in burrows in soft sediments in the subtidal zone along the coast of the south-eastern Atlantic Ocean. They have a brownish coloration and can reach up to 15 cm in length. They are filter feeders, filtering out organic material from the water and mud.
