Mud Pile Worm [Mediomastus fragilis]

Description
Mediomastus fragilis, also called the Mud Pile Worm, is a marine polychaete found in muddy substrates. It is a deposit feeder, consuming organic material from the mud. The worm has a slender and elongated body, usually dark brown to black in color. It has a pair of antennae and palps at the anterior end and a pair of gills present on most segments.
