Description
The Mosaic Gulper Shark is found in the western Pacific Ocean, primarily around Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines. It lives at depths between 400 and 720 meters. It is distinguished by its unique, mosaic-like pattern of denticles and two dorsal fins with spines.
