Mediterranean Rock Slater [Ligia italica]

Description
Ligia italica, or the Mediterranean rock slater, is native to the Mediterranean region and can be found on rocky coastlines. They are primarily nocturnal, hiding during the day and coming out at night to feed on algae and decaying plant matter. This species is known for its dark coloration, typically a rich brown, and can reach up to 20 millimeters in length.
