Description

The Mediterranean Flounder is native to the northeastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a bottom-dwelling species that inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms near coastal waters. It's recognizable by its oval-shaped, flattened body with a small head and large mouth.
