Manx Shearwater [Puffinus puffinus]
Description
This species is known for its long, narrow wings and streamlined body. The Manx Shearwater is predominantly black and white, with a dark upper side and a white underside. They are pelagic outside the breeding season, and they are also nocturnal on the breeding colonies. The species breeds in the North Atlantic, with major colonies on islands and coastal cliffs.
