Longbarb dragonfish [Photonectes longibarbus]
Description
The Longbarb dragonfish is found in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. The species is known for its long bioluminescent barbel which is used to lure prey. They live in deep sea environments and have the ability to produce their own light, a process known as bioluminescence.
