Leaf Worm [Phyllodoce mucosa]

Description
The Leaf Worm is a large, brightly colored polychaete worm that can reach a length of 20 cm. It can be found in the Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea, usually in sandy or muddy substrates. The Leaf Worm is an active predator, feeding on small invertebrates. It has a flattened body and each segment has a pair of broad, leaf-like parapodia.
