Keel Worm [Pomatoceros triqueter]

Description
This marine worm is known for its triangular, calcareous tube where the worm resides. The tube is often encrusted with sand and shell fragments. The worm itself has a segmented body with bristle-like appendages called chaetae. It inhabits intertidal and subtidal zones on hard substrates, such as rocks and man-made structures.
