Description

The Kaluga, also known as the river beluga, is native to the Amur River basin. This species is one of the largest freshwater fish, with the ability to grow up to 5.6 meters in length. It is a predatory species, feeding on other fish. The Kaluga is critically endangered due to overfishing for its roe.
