This species is primarily found in coral reef habitats, often hiding in crevices during the day and becoming more active at night. The Indo-Pacific Coral Crab is omnivorous, with a diet that includes small invertebrates and algae. Its body size ranges from 1 to 2 inches in diameter, with a characteristic brownish-red coloration.
