Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross [Thalassarche carteri]

Description

The Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross is a small to medium-sized albatross that breeds only on Princes' Island in the Indian Ocean sector of the Southern Ocean. It has a light grey mantle and a white head. The bill is dark grey with a yellow ridge, and the tail is white with a black terminal band. It feeds on fish, squid, and crustaceans.
