Indian Saddle Oyster [Anomia achaeus]

Description
Found in the Indian Ocean, the Indian Saddle Oyster has a thin, irregularly shaped shell that can reach a diameter of 6 cm. The color of the shell is typically white to light brown. This species is commonly found attached to hard substrates in shallow waters. It feeds by filtering plankton from the water.
