Indian Cormorant [Phalacrocorax fuscicollis]
Description
The Indian Cormorant or Indian Shag is found mainly along the inland waters of the Indian Subcontinent but extends through Southeast Asia to Java, where it inhabits wetlands, reservoirs, and lakes. The Indian Cormorant is a glossy black bird with a narrow bill, blue eye, and a small-ish size compared to other cormorants.
