Imperial Venus [Phyllonotus evergladesensis]

Description
The Imperial Venus, scientifically known as Phyllonotus evergladesensis, is another species in the Apple Murexes genus. Although smaller than the Apple Murex, its shell is also very thick and robust, typically measuring about 60 mm in length. It is characterized by its brown or orange coloration with darker spots. It is found in the coastal waters of the Southeastern United States, specifically in the Florida Everglades.
