Hudsonian Godwit [Limosa haemastica]

Description
The Hudsonian Godwit is a large shorebird in the sandpiper family. The species breeds in the New World, and winters in the Southern Cone. Hudsonian Godwits have a slightly upturned, bicolored bill that is pink at the base and dark towards the tip. They exhibit sexual dimorphism, with females larger than males.
